Is it possible to go too far?

Yes. Sensitivity to minorities should
not turn to timidity if the actions of
groups or individuals compromise the
interests of the wider community. If
people fall short of their
responsibilities as citizens, no matter
what their background, they should
expect exposure and criticism.
