The same sort of thing will happen at my local golf centre, at Northwick Park, where my daughter Gemma has golf lessons.

It is a fantastic facility, 60 driving bays, extensive practice grounds, with chipping and putting greens, six hole golf course based on holes at the best courses in the world, golf tuition suite, café-bar, gym, a JJB golf store, and even a baseball batting cage.

But just the Ricoh, not enough people go there to cover the costs of it.

The real money there will be made when the original investors go bust, and it gets taken over, and bought for a fraction of the original cost.
