I can cope easily enough with Lady Ponsonby-Slagg, but it's all the arty types, they make one feel somehow ... earthern. A clay pot to their Ming porcelain. A rugby playing brute to their watercolour painting aesthete. A vulgar plougher of the soil, a hewer of wood and a drawer of water, to their delicate gatherer of rare blooms and admirer of the starlight on cobwebs.
Good Burgundy, though, one must say that for them
