Well I'm not big on conceptual art (Otto?) but I suppose I can see what they are doing

They see this incredibly intolerant, aggressive, violent seam within Islam, and they hate it, and so they make art about it to provoke it and by provoking to expose it for what it is, thus hoping to weaken it

A somewhat dangerous tactic
