Thoughts on last night

One of the worst games of football (standard of play wise) I can recall seeing in a long time. Comical at times and I thought in general we were pretty poor throughout. However the only thing that is important is the result and in that respect is was massive.

Thought the Ched looked very good and I hope we can keep him for the rest of the season. Credit too to the Doc who had a ropey first half but i thought was excellent in the second half despite the crowd unecessarily getting on his back at one point for a backpass. Camara was solid again.

Other than that not too many other great performances. Biggest weakness was the midfield who were totally incapable of keeping possession and that needs to be sorted by Saturday. Fozzy was too hyped up IMHO which in a way is nice to see but meant he played with little composure. Russell can't pass which is a fairly major flaw in his game although his work rate is excellent. Pattison was as ineffectual as it is possible to be during a game of football.

We will need to play much better on Saturday and Roeder has some interesting selection decisions to make.
