Sort of agree...

... its a bit difficult to review their performance without 20/20 hindsight, however;
- When we got rid of Worthy, we could all see what a state the squad was in. It was a huge ask to get a novice manager to fix with limited funds (end of parachute payments etc). It looked like trouble from the start, despite his enthusiasm and preparation.
- If we get relegated, which looks less likely now I admit (gladly!), our ability to pay off the loan will be jeopardised. All those long term investments won't help that. My point is we got the balance wrong, not that we shouldn't have made any long term investments.
- If all we get from the Turners is that 2m, it opens up the existing board to accusations of a lack of ambition. Places on the Derby board were 5m each as an initial investment. 2m is a drop in the ocean even at Champs level these days. I'm presuming more has/will come from them, if we don't back Roeder in Jan we can still get relegated.

I don't want to sack the board, its a hysterical reaction. However I do think the board needs to evolve. Hopefully the Turners are the right first step. I like Doncaster, but too much has gone wrong and I think we need to replace him. Whatever the good intentions of the board, we should never be in the situation we are now in.
