Apparently there was uproar after they pulled out citing "security worries".

If I had to go to Selhurst Park, I'd be bloody worried about my security also.

I bet they just found out what Selhurst and Fratton parks are like and thought, "oh, f**k this for a game of soldiers. can we get out of it do you think?".
