The ONLY people I've ever known to have problems with Dyson's....

Have actually not been aware that there's a foiam filter that needs washing in warm water every 3-6 months. LOADS of people (my mum, and my missus's mum for instance) never clean these filters, eventually causing the motor to burn out.
