Just tried that. If I type in "football" I get

247,000,000 results. The first one is the BBC football page. Second one is NFL. From there on it is interspersed but generally 80-20 in favour of football as opposed to American Football.

However, the football sites are from all over the world.

If I enter "soccer" I get 158,000,000 results, most of which are American sites.

So what was your point ?
