I would still personally like to see....

us sign another centre back and another attacking left/right sided midfeilder on top of Dean Marney(if we get him).

I am a bit concerned that if Hux gets injured we do'nt have a player similar to him to replace him with. I do'nt know much about Kris Commons, apart from the fact he is a left sided midfielder (anyone know if he is a typical winger?) so he could be the answer. I would have said Richie Partridge but he is now on loan at Sheffield Wednesday so i ca'nt see him coming here. Jan Kristiansen is another player i would not be surprised to see us sign, he is an attacking left/right sided midfielder, 6 ft tall and a player who has an excellent work rate. He strikes me as a Worthington type player and he is also looking for a move abroad.

In terms of defence we have been linked with Sam Sodje, and he might be a good signing. I am not sure if Worthy will risk going into the season with our current crop of central defenders. Yes, we have Shackell but i am not convinced with Fleming, i have my doubts over whether Nigel rates Doherty and Charlton is too short for a centre back at this level.

What do you think? will we sign another central defender? surely Worthy cannot start next season with the central defensive pairing that shipped so many goals last season, albeit Shackell only played towards the end but we still conceded far, far too many goals.
