he obviously "had" talent and skill but he is now unfit, living on his wits and a total embarrassment of a sportsman. If he is the solution, then the problem is bigger than anything anyone of us can have possibly made up including mbk.

Put it another way, we are taking solace in a couple of assists or flukes or whatever you may wish to label them from a guy who cannot, because he is so unfit, run 15 yards let alone sprint for half of them.
