There are two kinds of people who invest in football clubs:

1. A wealthy philanphropist who supports the club and wishes to act as a custodian a la Jack Walker, Jack Hayward, Steve Gibson, etc.

2. Someone who expects a return on their investment eventually however that might be achieved.

It remains to be seen which Evans is.
