The truth of the matter is that Ipswich couldn't possibly believe they would face relegation and that such a wonderful, warm, community-based club with a massive history of success did not belong in the Premiership. Based on this arrogance, they invested in a stand and ridiculously overpriced players, using and gambling with other people's money which they have never paid back, other than in derisory percentages. Jambocanary, you are right! The devil takes care of his own and we have reaped the rewards for trying to pay our way and do the decent thing. By the way, it might be a nice token gesture for ITFC to pay back St John Ambulance the full amount they owed them.
