Yes mate it is a scam and my posting it here was a joke. I get several different ones a week. Before the advent of e mail I used to get letters(snail mail) from Nigeria etc. They were very rare in those days (late 80' early 90's) so much so that the police used to take them very seriously. I think I must have been one of the earliest recipients of this type of scam. Perhaps because I'm Middle East based and everyone assumed we were rich/greedy bastards.
