Particularly on the Pink 'Un. Roeder is a good appointment - do we honestly think that there was a better candidate waiting to come up the A11. The options were always limited to either a relatively successful manager from the lower leagues or someone with a premiership and/or championship experience who was currently out of post. No one was ever going to give up a position of success to come here and once you apply those criteria to the field of applicants then merits of Roeders appointment are obvious.
