and on that basis its a terrible appointment.

The situation we're in requires a massive confidence boost and something to get the fans back on side after 3 years of rubbish. Appointin someone who is a byword for managerial failure.

Its a bit like selling Ashton and replacing him with Trevor Benjamin. He could score bucketloads of goals noone knows but lets face it we;d be suprised.

Roeder may just have been unlucky with all 4 of his previous clubs but what we needed was a boost.
A little known manger would at least not be a **known** failure.
