Don't know about the MP3 - 530MB sounds excessive ... Does it play? What's the bitrate? iTunes allows one to attach artwork to each track, but I don't know if that's somehow encoded in the MP3 itself. Maybe it actually contains something else - a trojan horse or something exciting like that - have you passed your virus checker over it?
