That's standard for a senior appointment in almost any other sector, but NOT football

A number of other clubs have lost one manager and gained another while we've been due dillydallying. If there's a good reason, like we'd specifically identified someone and needed to go through channels/wait for clauses to expire that's one thing. If we go through all this and end up with someone like Parkinson it starts to look rather silly.
