Oh, decent candidates do, no doubt about it

Apart from the four I mentioned yesterday, Micky Adams - who should've been seriously considered by the board - would be interested; so I suspect would Paul Sturrock. I'm assuming we're waiting on someone though: which could mean trying to reach an agreement with Southend's chairman? No-one really knows - but we have to get a man in this week, and he needs to have exactly the same impact as Royle did at Everton.

I agree with SCC though: I think Ipswich is the perfect game for the new man too, and unless we make a ridiculous appointment, still think we'll beat them!
