Number 8 and 9 shirts both still vacant

surely Worthy is planning to have all 1-11 squad numbers taken? Even if Marney takes one (I hope) then there is still one to go... Unless Thorne has one of them as I can't seem to find which he has, although I wouldn't think this likely for a squad player? I know there is a first come first served ethos these days, but surely you want your best numbers as a draw for good signings?
