It's hard to know just how good or otherwise the pre-season teams are - I went to Real Mallorca last year, and yeah they were late, yadda yadda, but I felt that if we'd had our normal forwards on the park we would have thrashed them. It makes it easy to see how the likes of Forlan can go to Spain and score a shedload after doing nothing much in England, BUT just how representative of their true abilities are these teams?
