Hadn't heard that about live music

Wonder if that's distorted by high ticket prices and/or the amount of festivals that there seem to be these days.

Regarding download quality - yes, when comparing cost to quality ratios. However, I did read that most human ears can't tell the difference above 320kbps MP3 anyway; which begs the question: why do CDs have to be recorded at 1400 or so kbps?
