What makes you a dipstick isn't your view that Hartson may be a good signing

I hope to f**k he is, though I don't think he will be. And he was once a very good player, even if it was a bit of a long time ago and even if he has always been an unpleasant character, however good he has been. So there's always a chance that he will turn out good, like a old boxer always has a "puncher's chance".
