Fans back Delia

An independent survey commissioned by the club has revealed that more than 98% of fans believe the club is in good hands.

The poll, conducted by specialist research agency Ferraro Research Ltd took a sample of 46 randomly selected fans from the Directors lounge area.

Of those questioned, 16 out of every 20 fans expressed their support for the culinary guru, compared to just 8 out of 10 under Robert Chase.

When asked about the quality of football currently being played, a staggering 87% said that they prefer this season's out and out attacking style compared to the slow build up play of the last few seasons.

If the club were a cake, fans voted as follows for the type of cake that they thought it would be:-

30% Carrot
26% Fruit
12% Fairy
62% Don't know or like cake
