he might have been crap if he's come here

its not like he set the world alight at Villa, and his goalscoring record while here on loan was nowhere as good as he had at Saints (in the Prem). It might have been just one of those streaks players go on sometimes in the right surroundings where everything happens to click. He still has to prove he isn't a one season wonder. And I'd still rather have Ashton.
