naturally he will want to give HIS signings a fair trial and he will have faith in them, interestingly he would then have a midfield four that were ALL is own signings and therefore if he dropped any of them, then they may be seen as failures.

He is right to to stick to his guns to a certain extent, but it needs the fans to trust him and not get on the teams back as ever, off field relations rely heavily on media and fans perception.
