but have you looked at public sector stuff? There's a lot more happening particularly in things like RDAs - for example EEDA in Cambridge have a comms assistant post going..
Also there is a sort of uber agency thing which helps grads get into media roles - agree with you on the telesales thing, takes a lot to get out of it..Have no access to mags at moment but it's normally advertised in Media Week - one of the others on here may be able to help..
