Two things

1. I doubt the reply took him long: 3 or 4 minutes, probably. He also has a series of stock replies he employs (I've seen him use the same language, particularly regarding outside investment, in emails to other fans too): he's on autopilot, basically.

2. Maybe he actually has a heck of a lot more time than usual because he's essentially powerless: in other words, the boardroom goings on alluded to by Balls in his column tonight have left ND as a mere figurehead? Just a thought...
