At least 40% of ST sales each year doesn't go towards the team: it goes towards paying off the securitisation loan. And the club presently owes so much it is being forced into selling off its best players. ND told us that all the money from the Earnshaw, Etuhu and Safri sales would go to Grant - but it didn't.
