When I publish something, no matter how small or insignificant. I want the reader to see that I have put time and effort into what is written. Not just getting something knocked out as quickly as possible so that I beat the Pink 'un to the latest story.

Luckily Waghorn has a bit of a captive audience. Maybe if he took a bit more time over his work, it would be on the Guardian online
