One injury to any of his first-choice players, and the s**t hit the fan. In theory, our squad is stronger now (how could it could be any worse, though?) - but the first XI isn't good enough. Put simply: where's the quality? Semi and Marshall, yes; a happy Huckerby (ie. not now), ok - but the rest? Shackell, Drury and Russell are solid Championship players, but no more than that; Cureton can't do anything if he doesn't get any service; Martin (apparently) isn't fit, Dion's on his last legs, Lappin and Fozzy are reasonable but not much more, Brellier's been a major disappointment, Big Dave's not up to speed yet.
DO we have enough? I'm not at all sure - and at the very least, the players need to regain their confidence under a manager with a clear plan, who deploys them in their correct positions.
