Of course the problems go deeper than the manager, and of course he should be given time. But that doesn't mean fans who care very deeply about the club can't question whether he's the right man, and who might do a better job. Yes, things aren't right off the field either; but when I drew up a table ranking the Championship managers, strangely, the best ones tend to be managing clubs who are in contention. Funny that...
