Change needed now

I've never been in the Grant Out camp but after today and the timid performance in the Charlton game I think I'm headed that way. We have some good players, Hucks, Semmy, Marshall, Dion but not enough to produce a good team. It doesn't help when the manager comes out and says that we can't compete with the 'bigger teams' because we can't pay wages to attract players. How is this supposed to encourage the players? Delia and the board have to take their share of responsibility for the mess we find ourselves in. There are now two leagues within the Championship. I think we're seeing the beginnings of this. Grant and Sheep******* at the scum have both said it. We're being overtaken by teams who have investment. Was I the only one who looked at our new signings then looked at Eastwood going to Wolves and thought most of them looked bargain basement in comparison? In this league as in any league you can't beat quality. Some managers have the ability to inspire ordinary players to play above themselves eg Holloway, Williams at Col U, Laws for a while at Sheff Weds. Sadly Grant doesn't fall into this category. He's an excellent Assistant but sadly not manager material. Give him a few more games then get rid if we don't see an improvement. In the longer term we need a board who show a bit of ambition and want more than to sit middle to bottom in this crappy league.
