AB even had a quick scout in Mozzas for a copy. But then it turned out that the League Paper is defunct, leading to the delicious possibility that IED was the victim of an elaborate WOTB sting, plotted by someone evil and malicious (SiH).

Only then Clare claimed to have seen and read his piece, and IED did the first sensible thing he's done or ehre in years and refused to disclose which paper it was, since he knew he'd get shredded if he did, deservedly or not.

So as long as he can keep his trap shut (which I would say is odds against, since hope of approval and affirmation will triumph experience of being shredded) he is safe.
