Wasn't too chuffed by this from Worthy re Wet Sham for Ashton rumour:

"Nigel Worthington has knocked down national newspaper speculation linking striker Dean Ashton with West Ham - by insisting the Hammers simply couldn't afford Norwich City's record signing.

The tabloid rumour-mill has suggested that Ashton could be lined up for a move to Upton Park if West Ham fail to capture either of their two top targets, allegedly Peter Crouch and Freddie Kanoute.

But Worthington responded: "There is no way in the world that West Ham could afford Dean Ashton so you can knock that one on the head straight away."

I DON'T WANT IT TO BE BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T AFFORD HIM, NIGEL, I WANT IT TO BE BECAUSE HE'S NOT FOR SALE!!!
