My grandfather had MS. He was fairly lucky in that he survived 45

years after diagnosis, and died at the age of 79. Ultimately it was MS which "got him" though, and he did spend his last 20 years or so in a wheelchair but he was fairly lucky in that it progressed fairly slowly apart from the last couple of yeasr. Most MS patients see periods of rapid decline and then slight remission, and game over can come quite quickly.
