Time for Worthy to Gazump? (sp?)

From today's newspaper stories on the BBC website:

Cardiff are targeting West Brom pair Jason Koumas and Darren Purse for about ?600,000. (Daily Express)

If Cardiff are broke and can grab them, surely we can too? I am not sure we would need Purse though. Can he play RB? How about RM? (lol)
