what, exactly has he done wrong?

For me i really dislike this 433 he keeps trying, hasn't worked yet and I don't think it will.

Is there much else though that isn't dictated by circumstance.
Oh and trying doc in the middle at Stoke wasn't a shining moment of brilliance either.
There's work there to do, but time will tell.
