Poor football from both sides, lots of ineffectual hoofing, and lots of really cynical stuff from Hull. And the ref was total crap.
But there were a few points that bode well for the future - Semmy - quicker than Hucks, I reckon, at full pelt, and can do it with the ball, Brown willing to stick his head where it hurts and get lumped around all over the park without a single word of complaint, Cureton quick and willing to chase everything all day, in fact both strikers being a complete pain in the arse to the oppo defence, despite City playing a rank average game of football, and most importantly, all round, heads didn't drop once, even after the winner went in - they still looked to create (even though the execution on the day was rubbish).
We could have won it playing like that, Hull are s**t, but it's not the end of the world that we didn't.
Bring some proper ball playing midfielders into the equation, and we'll see a better performance.
