You keep missing the point of my posts. The 1H against Southampton and the whole of the Hull game showed the effect of not having a ball player in the side.

What we need as I said originaly is a ball player now, this may be a 3 month loan if we can find someone.
If we dont get someone in then we are risking drifting this season. Even if Smith gets fit and is the real deal we need at least two ball playing midfield players in the squad for competitive reasons.

As for frothing, I dont know where you get that idea from but at least I am expressing a view having SEEN the games. May I suggest you read the views of others who went to the game and you should be able to deduce who is being realistic.
