What's the crack?
I suffered today watching a horrible defeat at the hands of Hull City.
A Hull City who will probably build on their survival season of last term.
Norwich, having lost Earnie, Etuhu, Saf and had Hucks and Drury out with injury.
A Norwich that had suffered for two seasons with 'blood sucking' players.
Norwich didn't play too well today, they didn't play too well against Saints last week.
But what I see, is a team in its early days of understanding.
I see Cureton who, hardly touches the ball all day (no service) but is clearly upset about the defeat and is trying to verbally, rally his teams mates all afternoon long.
I see Rusty running and running and running in a game where no luck came his way.
I see the Semi doing next to nothing wrong in defence and showing great promise in attack.
I see a team together in defeat and, believe me, this is where a team can only show it is really together.
I see a team that is working to get it right. I think it will be right, I think it needs a little time to become right.
I think it needs all Yellows behind it as we enter in to this new stage of our history.
I think we can do well this season.
We lost, we need to buy tickets for the Cardiff game, we need to win it and we need to march on.
We can do something this season despite an ugly defeat today.
We need to believe. I can just about see a spark of belief in the players: if we can push them over the line a few times that belief will ignite into a head of steam.
Let's do this. Get there to The Carrow Road Cauldron next week by hook or by crook.
Long live the Yellows.
