I Genuinely Thought Grant Would Ditch Him

He had a charmed existence under Worthy but when PG came onboard and said all he said about getting in better players, players that want to play for us, younger players, committed players, skilful players, all of that, I thought-well, thats a whole load of deadwood out and indeed, we all counted them out-Flem, Hendo, Hughes, Uncle Peter and Doc...no, wait a minute, Doc's still here, he's still a first choice, FFS, he's a Norwich Galáctico!!!

Managers must have either a weak point where the Doc is concerned and appreciate all the running about and sweat, else he has something on them. The team is crying out for a more "footballing" central defender, yet we are still persisting with two "big men" one of whom simply is not up to the job, why can't the management see that?
