You really do have to question the wisdom of the decision to hand probably the most injury prone player in the whole squad a 4 year contract. Especially when you consider his form during the past 3 seasons has been somewhat mediocre at best. And then when you consider that the same player has been given the team captaincy twice, only to have it taken away from him twice, I really don't know what Grant was thinking! He's lightweight, he's pedestrian and yet probably one of the highest earners at the club. I thought Grant was supposed to be getting rid of the "dead wood".
