Not a good character reference for him at all and it'll put a lot of managers and clubs off.

He should make it clear that, whilst he wants a move, he will play to his utmost ability, help Saints progress, and, in doing so, not only add value to his potential transfer fee and get Southampton up the table, but enhance his prospects of a Tottenham, Liverpool or Arsenal, rather than a Derby, West Ham or Everton.

Bet he does go for a big fee somewhere and swiftly fades back into obscurity, ending up back in the CCC.
