Joe Cole last night

Been checking the reports & Joe is getting quite a few plaudits today for his performance.

Watching the game last night 2 things struck me about Cole's performance.

1) It was good to see someone taking on defenders & stretching the play.

but. . .

2) Cole's short passing actually was a bit off. When he was doing the simple stuff he almost always underhit or overhit the pass, which actually bust up some of the fluidity.
