Playing for England is an inconvenience to a lot of them

WOuld rather play for their clubs who pay them their inflated wages.

They know they are gonna get slated when they play for England so they just go through the motions and are not that concerned.

FLying to the other side of Europe on a freezing December night to play a load of part timers who are just gonna lump them about is not to appealing when there is a big glamorous Champions League game coming up in a few days ltime.
