gone on for a while

we used to quote actual people in the ground, then realised that every other club quoted tickets sold, so we started doing it but with an actual turnout percentage. This always seemed to confuse lots of people (including on here), but noticed on Saturday that we just did the 'attendance' - which from looking around looked to be tickets sold rather than bums on seats.
