The City vs United debate

To my knowledge there has never been any pub debate over this question for any competition. Ever. Clearly some hoxton-finned marketing t**t (presumably after a brainshowering session) has come up with this to try and make the Carling Cup interesting. Probably the same one who took five minutes inventing the Olympic 2012 logo.
