In fairness we can lose next week and blame it on giving the team time to settle

Would be a valid excuse but we can't afford to be making excuses if we want a good season.

Yesterday would have been a good point even with a ful strength squad.

I think the team looks stronger on paper than last season but we're still a way off the best teams in this division.

This season is all about building a solid base for the future.
