I don't ever want to see Brown and Dublin up front again! If we had a striker with pace who moved around the box today we would have won.
Marshall - i felt safe and confident in his ability. He came off his line at all the right times and his positioning looked good. Great kicking apart from the 1 woeful slice. I'd like to see him on his toes a little more.
Ostembor - Hard working and brave, held his man up well and didn't forget his post at the back. Covered plenty of ground and listened to direction well.
Docherty - Best game for Norwich I've seen him in. Looked strong and composed and listened to his Captain when keeping the line. His distribution is poor and nearly got him into big trouble but his defending was well timed and safe.
Shacks - He worked very very hard as a defnder and as a Captain. He bossed his back 4 and kept the line better than any Norwich defender has done for a number of years. He is quick, willing to get stuck in and reads the game very well. A great start. I think he needs to realise he is the Captain of the team rather than just the defence, sometime the Midfield needed shouting at.
Drury - He has made me feel uncomfortable at times with his eratic play but without the burden of being Captain I felt his general play was far more relaxed. His timing is still a little wayward but he got into the right places at the right times and worked well in the defensive unit.
Lappin - A little anonymous. When called upon he played his position well but for me he isn't a starter - just a good squad player.
Brellier - I'm very very impressed. With Russel he bossed the midfield. VERY industrious and creative, he has great vision and I was impressed with his never-say-die attitude in the opponents haldf of the pitch. He closes the opposition down and gets his foot in. With more games under his belt he could quite easily be one of our best players this season.
Russel - A stunning game and quite easily my MOTM. Covered every inch of the ground, got his head in to dangerous balls, showed total commitment in tackles and distributed the ball well. Without his presence on the pitch PNE would have snuck a goal! He is BETTER than Etuhu and Francis.
Chadwick - A little lightweight but tried to be undustrious. A handful of good runs and passes into the box that came to nothing. I question his decision making process and football brain.
Dion - Oh dear. This was poor stuff from the big man. His legs have quite clearly gone and his movement up front was non-existant. A few nice touch and a powerful prescence when the ball is in the air but I really don't want to see his starting games.
Brown - Very much the definition of a headless footballer. Lots of running and shouting but little to no end product. He is not the answer up front and certainly doesn't have goals in him. A striker who showed some movement in the box would have scored today.
Croft - Clearly unfit and hesitant in running at players and delivering balls. I like his desire and feel he could improve later in the season.
Dave - Looked much better than Dublin or Brown and not afaid to take a shot. He looked strong and fit. He'll score goals for us.
Fotheringham - Just played a holding role to keep the draw.
